Saturday 3rd March saw in the Sheffrec 2up 25 based on the O25/11 which runs between Hatfield Woodhouse - Crowle - Hatfield Woodhouse - Blaxton.

The day started rather grey and misty but by lunchtime the overcast sky began clearing with shafts of strong sunlight striking the HQ in Hatfield Woodhouse.

Nassim Koriba & Paul Armstrong of the promoting club kicked off proceedings with the remaining 44 starting teams following at the traditional 2 minute intervals.

Despite the improving rolling sunshine, the early starters were challenged by a breezy headwind into the 2nd part of the course which followed the A614 south to Blaxton roundabout although the wind seemed to reduce for the later pairs.

At the halfway mark, Sportscover Altura RT pairing of Brown & Duggleby appeared to be leading the field, but their team mates Tanner & Humphreys clawed time back to finish into 1st place 23 seconds ahead.

Yorkshire Season Opener

	And they're off....

Sunday 26th February saw the 2012 CTT Yorkshire district season open for business with the Yorkshire Cycling Federation open 10 mile Time Trial.

The event held on the V910 (Brotherton) course was won by Alastair Wareham (Team Swift) <above> in a time of 21:58, closely followed by:

	Joel Wainman 22.02
Steve Smales 22.10
Simon Beldon 22.29
Ged Millward 22.42
Ian Cooke 22.53
(Results unofficial at the moment)

It was as fair a February day as the riders could have expected given the previous week had seen some of the lowest UK recorded temperatures. The sun poked through the overcast sky for a little while in the later stages of the event

This event was also the first outing for our new event offering of "At-Event" Photo Printing, which although not anything new in itself is differentiated from others by the fact that we use wireless technology to transmit photo's from the course stright to the event HQ... The result of this is that rider photo's are ready to view when they return to the HQ, no waiting from the 1st rider to the last. This is supported by the very latest in Dye-Sublimation Photo printing technology at sizes upto 9"x6".

All Photo's are presented to the rider mounted & bagged.

Event organisers who would like to have this service at their event please drop me a line.
